The Target Japan MAYO GEN 8 Steel Tip Darts were developed in collaboration with popular darts idol Mayuko Morita, who is also an active professional poker player. MAYO G8 takes the series into one of its most vibrant and creative generations yet, combining playful styling with a fast, direct and easy-to-use barrel profile.

Inspired by the colourful excitement of a slot machine, the barrel features eye-catching details, playful symbols and a lively finish. The result perfectly matches Mayuko's energetic personality and distinctive style.

Classic Torpedo Shape – Fast and Easy to Throw

The MAYO G8 barrel features a classic torpedo profile, giving the darts a fast, direct and easy-to-throw character. The compact shape is particularly appealing to players who prefer a dynamic barrel with a clear sense of acceleration.

Slot Machine-Inspired Design

The front section is the visual highlight of the MAYO GEN 8. Three rows of rotating square motifs recreate the look of the reels found on a slot machine. Inside the individual squares are playful symbols such as cat paws, lightning bolts and smiling icons, creating a lively and unmistakable design.

These precision-milled details are more than just decoration. They provide clear tactile feedback, giving the fingers a distinctive contact surface and helping players recognise the barrel position with confidence.

Rear Grip – Shark Cuts with a Playful Twist

At the rear, the MAYO G8 retains the classic shark cut grip. Its pronounced texture provides strong anti-slip performance and a secure, reliable hold during the throw.

To complement the playful design, dot details are machined into the shark cuts. These additions create extra visual rhythm while maintaining the functional grip characteristics of the rear section.
