This means the flight cannot come loose from the shaft during play, while the flight wings remain permanently positioned at the correct angle. With Condor Zero Stress, Condor AXE and Condor AXE 120, several different versions are available. The main differences are the stiffness of the material, flexibility and the arrangement of the flight wings.

Condor Zero Stress or Condor AXE?

Condor Zero Stress – Soft & Flexible

The Condor Zero Stress is the particularly flexible version of the Condor system. Flight and shaft are made from a soft and flexible material. When an incoming dart makes contact with the flight or shaft, the material can flex out of the way and then return to its original shape.

Thanks to its high flexibility, Zero Stress is especially suitable for players who prefer a softer and more forgiving feel. The system can be used for both soft-tip and steel-tip darts and is available in numerous colours, designs, flight shapes and shaft lengths.

Condor AXE – Stiffer & More Rigid

The Condor AXE is made from a firmer special plastic material. Compared with the Zero Stress system, both the flight and shaft are significantly stiffer. The thin flight wings remain permanently open and reliably maintain their consistent shape.

The firmer construction gives the AXE system a more direct feel. It is particularly suitable for players who prefer rigid, shape-stable flights with minimal movement at the rear of the dart.

Condor AXE 120 – Three Wings at 120°

The Condor AXE 120 differs from conventional flight systems due to its unique construction. Instead of four flight wings, it features three wings positioned at an angle of 120° to each other.

The larger gaps between the individual wings provide more open space for incoming darts. This can help reduce contact with flights already in the board when grouping darts closely. The AXE 120 therefore offers a particularly open and distinctive flight profile.

Different Condor Flight Shapes

The flight shape influences the lift, speed and stability of the dart. Not every shape is available in every colour, design or Condor model.

• Standard: Large, classic flight shape providing plenty of lift and stability. Particularly suitable for a controlled and stable dart trajectory.
• Small: Slightly smaller than the Standard shape. Offers a balanced combination of stability, speed and additional space for tighter grouping.
• Slim / Wing Slim: Narrow flight shape with reduced air resistance. Can support a faster and flatter dart trajectory.
• Teardrop: Compact, teardrop-shaped flight. Suitable for players looking for a stable flight with slightly less lift than a Standard flight.
• Narrow: Slim, elongated shape with reduced air resistance and more open space for tighter grouping.

Which Condor Shaft Length Should I Choose?

Condor Flight & Shaft Systems are mainly available in Short, Medium and Long lengths. Condor measures the shaft from the top of the thread to the transition between the shaft and flight.

The best combination depends on your barrel, dart trajectory and individual throwing style. A larger flight generally provides more lift and stability, while a smaller or narrower flight creates less air resistance and can support a faster dart trajectory.
