The Cuesoul Flight/Shaft Systems combine flight and shaft into a single unit and ensure a consistent 90-degree angle between the flight wings. From the affordable Cuesoul AK5 to the particularly shape-stable ROST 77, various materials, flight shapes and lengths are available.

The systems differ primarily in terms of flexibility, shaft material, weight and playing feel. This gives you a choice between an affordable introduction to integrated Flight/Shaft Systems and premium options for a precisely customised dart setup.

Cuesoul AK5 – the affordable entry-level option

The Cuesoul AK5 Integrated Flight/Shaft System is a particularly affordable way to enjoy the advantages of an integrated system. Flight and shaft form a single unit, keeping the flight wings permanently positioned at a clean 90-degree angle. There is no need to fit flights and shafts separately.

The AK5 material is comparatively flexible. This allows both the flight and shaft to give slightly when contacted by an incoming dart. The AK5 therefore provides a softer and more flexible playing feel than the stiffer Cuesoul systems.

Thanks to its attractive price-performance ratio, the Cuesoul AK5 is particularly suitable for players who want to try an integrated system or are looking for an affordable Flight/Shaft System for regular use.

Cuesoul ROST T19 – stable shaft, flexible flight

The Cuesoul ROST T19 combines two different material characteristics. The AK7 shaft is more stable and shape-resistant, while the flight is made from flexible AK5 material.

This keeps the shaft stable during the throw, while the flight can give slightly when contacted by an incoming dart. The T19 therefore offers an interesting balance between a highly flexible and a completely rigid integrated system.

For players who prefer a stable shaft with a flexible flight, the ROST T19 is a versatile all-round solution.

Cuesoul ROST T19 Carbon – additional carbon reinforcement

The Cuesoul ROST T19 Carbon is based on the concept of the standard T19 but features additional carbon reinforcement inside the shaft.

The shaft is not made entirely from carbon. An integrated carbon rod reinforces the shaft, particularly around the threaded section. At the same time, the flight remains flexible.

This allows the ROST T19 Carbon to combine the characteristic flexible feel of the T19 with an additionally reinforced yet lightweight shaft.

Cuesoul ROST 77 – stiffer and shape-stable

The Cuesoul ROST 77 is designed for players who prefer a stiffer and particularly shape-stable integrated system. Compared with the AK5 and T19, the system focuses more strongly on stability and a direct playing feel.

Additional reinforcement structures support the stability of the flight and help keep the flight wings permanently positioned at the desired 90-degree angle.

The ROST 77 is therefore particularly suitable for players who prefer minimal flexibility and instead want a firm and direct Flight/Shaft System.

Cuesoul Flight/Shaft System lengths

The Cuesoul Integrated Systems are available in different shaft lengths depending on the model. The ROST T19, ROST T19 Carbon and ROST 77 Systems are particularly common in Short, Medium and Long sizes.

* The overall length may vary slightly depending on the flight shape. The shaft length is measured without the thread up to the transition between shaft and flight. Not all lengths may be available for every model and design.

Weight – depending on length and flight shape

When choosing an integrated Flight/Shaft System, the weight should be considered alongside the length. The weight of the Cuesoul systems is not fixed and depends on factors including model, shaft length and flight shape.

As a guide, the following table shows the weights of the ROST T19 Standard and ROST 77 Standard versions with a flight surface area of approximately 993 mm²:

The weight specifications are intended as a guide. Other flight shapes and versions may be lighter or heavier. Please check the individual product variant for the exact weight.

Flight shapes – from Slim to Big Standard

Another important difference is the flight shape. Depending on the series and design, Cuesoul offers its integrated systems in different shapes and flight sizes. These include Slim, Standard, Big Wing and Big Standard.

Larger flight shapes have a greater surface area and therefore generate more air resistance. This can provide greater stability during flight and may suit players who prefer a smoother, more controlled trajectory.

Smaller or slimmer flight shapes generate less air resistance. This can allow the dart to fly faster and more directly. The ideal shape depends on factors such as your individual throwing style, dart weight and overall setup.

Not every flight shape is available with every AK5, ROST T19, T19 Carbon or ROST 77 design. Please check the available options for the individual product.

Which Cuesoul Flight/Shaft System is right for you?

Tip: When choosing your system, don't just consider the material. Shaft length, weight and flight shape can also have a significant influence on the balance, trajectory and feel of your darts. The different Cuesoul systems allow you to tailor your setup to your individual throwing style.

Alternative: Cuesoul AK4 & AK7 Flight/Shaft System

In addition to the integrated AK5, ROST T19, T19 Carbon and ROST 77 Flight/Shaft Systems, Cuesoul also offers a modular system where flight and shaft are available separately and can be combined. The principle is similar to the well-known Cosmo Flight/Shaft System.

A popular alternative is the Cuesoul AK4 & AK7 System. The AK4 Flights simply attach to the matching AK7 Shafts. This allows the flight shape and shaft length to be selected independently and individual components to be replaced when required.

A special feature of the AK4 & AK7 System is its integrated spring, telescopic and rotation function. When hit by an incoming dart, the flight can move out of the way, rotate and spring back slightly. This can help reduce hard deflections when darts are grouped closely together.

The AK4 Flights are available in various flight shapes. Cuesoul also offers matching AK7 Shafts in different lengths. This allows you to customise the system to suit your darts, preferred balance and individual throwing style.
